About Paul & Sandy White
Paul and Sandy White returned in 2018 after serving in Singapore for four years in a Christian ministry centre called Fountain Gate Ministries. Paul’s work there involved prayer counselling and inner healing. After four years in Singapore their visa was not approved for renewal as the government wanted locals to take over in that capacity. At about the same time Paul’s health was diminishing and upon arrival back in Canada in February 2018 it was confirmed that he was dealing with pancreatic cancer.
Paul and Sandy were part of Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship just after they got married in 1973, travelling with the ISCF Student team (Inter School Christian Fellowship) for a year. They provided leadership for 6 high school grads as they visited to encourage and strengthen various Ontario high school ISCF clubs. After theological education Paul spent years pastoring in Baptist churches and then planted a church for Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Sandy supported him in these ministries in many capacities within the churches while working full-time as a Public Health Nurse.
May 2020 UPDATE – We are sad to share that Paul has lost his battle with cancer and has gone home to be with the Lord. We ask for prayer for Sandy and their children as they grieve the loss of their husband and father. Donations may be made to IATW in memory of Paul and will be used to continue the work of spreading the gospel around the world. Sandy will be continuing to support the work of IATW by helping set up donor and missionary care support programs on a part-time basis. Please pray for Sandy as she seeks God’s guidance for her future.
