Justin began his mission work in Uganda in 2022. Light of Christ started as an organization to touch the heart of the community in Mpumpdde, Jinja through sharing the word of God. Light of Christ Ministries help provide school fees for children who’s parent(s) or guardians aren’t able to afford it. The ministry also provides food and housing for children who were homeless and in need. Providing housing opens the door to teach the children the word of God. Daily devotions led by staff, sharing stories from the Word of God and teaching the children memory verses are all part of the weekly rhythm.

In 2023, Justin met Christine during one of his trips to Uganda. At that time, Christine had recently begun tutoring children at Light of Christ Ministries. It became evident that God brought them together, and their connection grew quickly. They began dating shortly after meeting and got married in 2024.

Both Justin and Christine are deeply passionate about helping others and making a meaningful impact in the community of Mpumudde, Jinja. The theme of the ministry is “impacting a child, changing a generation.” Justin and Christine strive to bring the word of God to these kids, providing them with a solid, Biblical foundation while helping them to fulfill their God given destiny. They are thrilled to be serving God as a team and making a difference in Uganda for His glory and look forward to seeing how God will open up more doors for them in the future and expand the work that they’re doing.
